| Abstract/Description |
The four plays written by Patrick White, 'The Ham Funeral', 'The Season at Sarsaparilla', 'A Cheery Soul' and 'Night on Bald Mountain', are discussed for content and the use of typical the Australian 'style of speech'. It is suggested that the plays bring slices of authentic Australian life to the theatre.
