The article reports the cancellation of Winifred Atwell's performance at the National Theatre which was to be the last before the theatre closed its doors. Instead the last performance was by horn player Barry Tuckwell as part of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra ABC Launceston Concert Series, Wednesday 11 November 1970. |
