Mrs. Warren's Profession: Interesting Shaw Production |
| Abstract/Description |
If it can be said that even some of Shakespeare's plays "date," it is surely not too harsh a criticism to level against at least one of those of Mr. George Bernard Shaw. Not all the gallant efforts of Mr. J. Beresford Fowler and his modern comedy company at the National Theatre last night could make "Mrs. Warren's Profession" more than an interesting period piece - not a very far off period, it is true, but decidedly a period that is past. |
