| Title |
Outward Bound. Novel Play at Prince of Wales Theatre |
| Abstract/Description |
The indecision felt by Mr. J. Cunningham, of the Zillah Bateman Co., the producer of Sutton Vane's play in three acts, "Outward Bound," at the Prince of Wales Theatre, as to whether it would appeal to the average theatregoer will be well understood by those who witnessed the play last night. The performance was the first in Australasia, and Mr. Cunningham exhibited a good deal of courage when he decided to risk the production at Hobart, preparatory to its being played in Melbourne, for "Outward Bound" is so weird that it was impossible to foresee exactly how it would appeal to the public taste. |
