| Title |
An Island Drama. Clemence Dane's Granite. |
| Abstract/Description |
Generous scope for dramatic exposition has been provided by Clemence Dane in his grimly emotional play "Granite," which was presented at the Cathedral Hall on Wednesday and thursday and again last night under the production auspices of Lily P. Cavanagh. Even without a change in scenery -- the four acts of the play are performed in the kitchen of an old world castle -- the interest of the audience is held to the end by the power of the plot and the dramatic scenes it unfolds. |
