"The Harp in the South", the first serious Australian play to be produced by the Broken Hill Repertory Society since “The Shifting Heart" will be presented at the Playhouse on March 20, for a seven night season. The play, written by well known Australian authoress and novelist Ruth Park, is set in a Sydney slum, and deals with the troubles of an Irish-Australian slum family. |
