| Abstract/Description |
The opening music of Lighthouse's version of The Marriage of Figaro is Frank Sinatra singing from the musical Oklahoma! about love and marriage going with a horse and carriage. This Figaro is entirely different from Mozart's. Thanks to Nick Enright's translation it is even 200 years away from Beaumarchais's highly ornamented original. |
