| Title |
In Modern Clothes - Orlando and Rosalind |
| Abstract/Description |
This is, perhaps, the first time a modern version of Shakespeare has crept into Sydney. In London and Birmingham, where the idea originated, Macbeth in evening dress, and Hamlet in 'plus fours,' no longer create attention. 'As You Like It' presents a wealth of opportunity for such variations, and the latest experiment of the Sydney University Dramatic Society should be watched with interest. |
