| Abstract/Description |
A small stage need not be a drawback to amateur performers. In fact a domestic comedy, employing a mere half dozen characters and set in a cottage or an inexpensive modern flat, gains in realism if the stage is not too large. A small stage is cosier too for the nervous novice. There is not the same terrifying sense of isolation. The catch about a small stage comes when you try to produce on it a play with palatial interiors or rugged natural scenery. |
