The Theatre. Low Standard in Art. Judge Beeby's Views. |
| Abstract/Description |
"A municipal theatre is badly needed in this city. It would not be necessary to start it on a big scale. The three requisites are a hall, a stage, and a small subsidy." This was the opinion advanced by Judge Beeby last night, in presiding over a meeting called to form "The Shakespeare Society Players' Club." |
