| Title |
Rookery Nook. University Players |
| Abstract/Description |
The opening was slightly uncertain but the players soon settled down and gave a highly entertaining performance. The acting honours went to John Bushell for his portrayal of Harold Twine and to Peter Leslie (Gerard Hopkiss) though he was inclined to overdo his gestures. lan Maxwell was appropriately restrained.
The women were not quite as convincing as the men though Betty Winn and Lyndall Barbour gave creditable performances
The play was produced by May Hollinworth. |
