Day Must Break |
| Abstract/Description |
In the hands of a keen-sighted, experienced playwright, the ebb and flow of motives might have developed into fascinating drama. But "Day Must Break" is Mr. Connell's first play; and he seemed scarcely able to come to grips with the situation. One remained conscious that the plot was flimsy, and that all the people of the play stood several removes away from real life. |
