MISS MARION JOHNS, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Johns, of Rossleigh, Killaia, whose engagement to Mr. Peter Leslie, A.I.F., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Leslie, of Randwick, is announced. Miss Johns and her fiance met as members of Sydney University Dramatic Society during their first year at the University, and since then have appeared together in
many of S.U.D.S.'s productions, the last being "School for Scandal," in the Great Hall a few weeks ago. Miss Johns is also well-known for her radio dramatic work. |
