MESSES. Farmer & Iraray's Minstrel Troupe gave an entertainment at the Lunatic Asylum, Fremantle, on Wednesday evening, to the inmates. The programme was composed of songs, nigger jokes, and other pleasantries pertaining to Christy Minstrel performances, and was evidently keenly relished by the inmates. At the conclusion of the programme, Dr. Barnett thanked the performers for their entertainment, and said be hoped it would not be the last time he would have the pleasure of witnessing their successful efforts to amuse the inmates of the Asylum.
