Amusements. Joan of Arc matinee |
| Abstract/Description |
The drama itself was excellently produced (under the direction of Madame Boult). Miss Queen Boult as the Maid of Orleans gave a
particularly acceptable Impersonation, and was especially convincing in the last scenes when put to the Inquisition by the Bishop of Beauvais. In Mr. Harry Thomas, who played Armand of the Meuse, she was well supported. |
