| Abstract/Description |
Where did Mr. Buckingham find a precedent for rendering his dress more ridiculous than the party-coloured coat of Motley in the Castle Spectre ? Munden did not dress so ; Farren did not dress so ; but Mr. Buckingham, perhaps, knows best how the character ought to be dressed. However? had we not seen this gentleman play Lovegold, we would not have believed that he could play it so well as he did. Take it "all in all" it was very creditable to him. Mrs. Love's Lappet was decidedly the best performance of the evening. |
