[Mr Levey At Home] |
| Abstract/Description |
Mr. Levey at Home for the first and last time. This very religious Government, which encourages Races, by having instituted a second racing club, seeing that one was not sufficient for our
"infant Empire," has forbid Mr. Levey entertaining the people any more by the exhibition a la Matthews, of his amusing and agreeable talents. He had a full house on Wednesday night; and his new entertaiment, if it had been allowed to continue, would have greatly added to the pleasures of the people; and at the same time, decreased setting in public houses. |
