Domestic Intelligence [The Theatre] |
| Abstract/Description |
Nash's long room, at the " Wool Pack," is completed as a temporary Theatre, and will be opened on Saturday next, under
the direction of Mr. Meredith. The first night's performance will consist of "Inkle and Yarico," and the afterpiece of " The Spectre Bridegroom." The seats are divided into two classes ; the admission to the front seats is 4s., and to the back, which answer to the pit, 2s. 6d. The greater part of the house is already taken up for the first night, and from the eagerness which the native youth from the Hawkesbury evince to have a peep at the fine sights, will be liable to render Mr. Meridith's three weeks' sojourn in Parramatta very profitable to him. |
