| Abstract/Description |
Mr. Levey, we are happy to perceive, is judiciously securing "the
Royal road to favour" by introducing as fast as practicable, such novelties as are most likely to suit the taste of the public ... By the courteous permission of Colonel Despard, the 17th band, led by their able master, were in attendance, and played some ravishing
pieces of music. The after-piece of Fortune's Frolic succeeded, and was received with great applause. |
