| Abstract/Description |
Stelarc begins by standing in a dark room, while a rhythmic pulsing sound plays. Attached to his body are various mechanical and electric apparatus. After some minutes, Stelarc begins to gesture and move as a series of industrial or robotic noises begin to play. Around the same time, several lights positioned upon Stelarc's body and around the room begin to appear in various sequences. Approximately two-thirds of the way during the performance, two laser lights attached to Stelarc's head appear and become part of the audio-visual performance. The pace of Selarc's movements and the intensity the audio-visual display gradually build to a manic tempo, before slowly winding down. |
