"Mo" and his Merry Makers |
| Abstract/Description |
Fullers' Theatre was a gurgle of laughter on Saturday. Seldom has the audience been so amused as when Mo and his band of merrymakers presented, the breezy revue, 'The Police Force.' Mo's laughtermaking tactics are legion, and yesterday he brought a new bunch of whimsies to add to his popularity. The standard reached in the opening of the entertainment was sustained throughout, and the various offerings were received with applause. Dainty dancing numbers were again presented by the Six Beautiful Brunettes, whose dressing is as smart as their performance. Sadie Gale, Lulla Fanning, and Linda Foy were in excellent voice, and their numbers were encored enthusiastically. Eric Masters, Charlie Megan, Dan Weldon, and Bill Miller were responsible for some lively interludes, and one number that especially pleased was the dancing of Alex McKinnon and his petite partner. The Charleston Symphonists proved to be one of the most popular features of the worth-while entertainment. |
