The Civil and Military Ground |
| Abstract/Description |
s we understand it is in future to be styled) the Asso
ciation Ground. We have already furnished a description
of the improvements in the Albert Ground; but in this
case we have to refer to the formation of an entirely new
ground, which is vested in the New South Wales Cricket
Association almost exclusively for cricket purposes. In
extent the Association Cricket Ground (or rather the field
of play) will be 176 yards long by 164 wide, and in shape
will be almost an oval, leaving a very large space on every
side for the accommodation of the public. |
