THE THEATRE |
| Abstract/Description |
We never felt more disgusted than in witnessing the blackguard and disgraceful scenes which occurred in the Sydney Theatre on Monday night. The Play was the Drama of the "Charcoal Burner," and the first time of its representation here: we shall reserve our strictures upon the piece and its performance until our next â neither time nor inclination allowing us to go into it at present. The Drama was permitted to go off without any disturbance, and Mr. Fitzgerald's Hornpipe which followed received a vociferous encore. |
