Thomas E. Spencer (1845-1911) is best known as a writer of humorous ballads. Among his more popular works are 'How McDougall Topped the Score' and 'Why Doherty Died'. He was a frequent contributer to The Bulletin and published two collections of verse in 1906 and 1908. |
