Notes	Caroline Frances Donaldson married Italian-born watchmaker/jeweller Antonio Pugliese (1853-1916) in 1883. Together they raised seven children and in the early 1900s founded became involved in the entertainment industry, initially through leasing Sydney’s Alhambra Theatre. Their association with the Alhambra continued through until 1921, during which time they oversaw the production of vaudeville shows, revues, dramas, musical comedies, pantomimes and films.
