An opera that invokes an environment severely damaged by human activity, processes and materials. The action takes place on a beach where birds testify to the changes they have witnessed, people in white measure the pollution whilst describing the world of men and technology, and a shamanic woman who lives on the beach and sets about creating a disjunction between the audience and the temporal mode of the action. |
