Performing with just an acoustic guitar and her amazing voice, she takes the recognisable sounds of country but adds the twist of very adult lyrics to humorous and wicked effect. She performs catchy original songs, including Ménage a Twat, Are you 22? and Womanhood, and as you may have guessed, they all relate to the joys and adventures of sex. Whether it is about the importance of masturbation, spooning, or the joys of coming home to the person you love, Shirley has got you covered. The lyrics were clever and funny, and everyone in the audience – whether man or woman – will relate to them. |
