Following critically acclaimed performances throughout its 2010 European Tour, the Sydney Symphony and Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Vladimir Ashkenazy are set to tour Japan and Korea in November, continuing the vital role the orchestra plays as Australia’s leading cultural ambassador. The orchestra’s full ensemble of 96 musicians will perform eight concerts during the 11 day tour in the Japanese cities of Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Nishinomiya as well as in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
