Description |
James Angus suspends an inverted hot air balloon from the ceiling of the Concert Hall foyer. Intended to simultaneously resemble an enormous lampshade, teardrop, or Chinese lantern, the sculpture is titled Shangdi La after the fictitious Tibetan utopia described by James Hilton on his 1933 classic, Lost Horizon. |
