| Description | To mark the opening of the new Macquarie Auditorium, a 300 seat venue located on the ground floor of the new 2GB headquarters.
The 300 guests invited to the opening night will be shown what are claimed to be the most modern broadcasting studios in the Southern Hemisphere. They will provide the audience with a programme which will feature many of Australia's notable concert and radio artists. The official opening ceremony will be performed by the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Alderman S. S. Crick. |
