For four Saturdays, commencing February 18, "A
Midsummer Night's Dream" will be presented at the
Open Air Theatre, Castlecrag, Willoughby. Mr Hermann Schultze, who produced "Antigone" will offer "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for four performances, beginning next Saturday. He brings to Shakespeare's play an Intimate theatrical knowledge; for he took the part of Demetrius when Max Reinhardt produced "A Midsummer Night's Dream" In Berlin. The colours of thc costumes next Saturday will be arranged in three series, according to the status of the characters-one for the nobility one for the workmen, and one for the fairies. A ballet will take place on a high flat rock. |
