Ivor Novello's comedy "Full House" was presented by the Labour and Industry Dramatic Club at St. James's Hall on Wednesday, In aid of the Rotary Club appeal for crippled
children. The production was chiefly Interesting tor Its general sprightly galt and especially for an excellent performance by Gwen Henkel as one of two retired actress sisters who turn their home into a society gambling club with results that bring happiness to the family. Beryl Jones, Clarice Ross, Frederick Clarke, Stephen McGlnley, and Reginald Eade played other leading roles. Edith Smith was a competent maid. |
