The close of the tenth year of the Independent Theatre was celebrated on Sunday night by a special programme of scenes from past successes. These included excerpts from "Press Cuttings," "Interval," "Housemaster," "The Constant Nymph " and "1066 and All That." Mr Maxwell Oldaker, of the Gilbert and Sullivan Co., sang several numbers and some negro spirituals were sung by Mr Sidney Gotto. |
