Description The play encapsulates typical Catholic family attitudes prevelant in the late 40's and early 50's with a dash of McCarthyism thrown in.
The story of the Cassidy family. Dan and his wife Aggie and his two brothers Martin and Paddy and their wives. Dan is the pillar of the family the one the others turn to in times of trouble. One year whilst the family is on holiday in Woy Woy NSW Dan's son meets Jack. Jack is immediately attrached to Dan and makes his intentions clear. At first Dan is confused but a relationship develops between the teenagers - but will it just be a summer love?
