| Description |
Installation. Al Nakba (The Catastrophe) is the name Palestinians give to 1948 when the State of Israel expelled over 750,000 people from their homes. A collaboration between Arab artists and elders from Sydney's Palestinian community who are some of the keepers of these memories, I Remember 1948 explores the primary experience of displacement and its continued resonance within Palestinian consciousness. |
