Manual Cinema creates real-time animated cinema using overhead projectors, shadow puppetry, in silhouette actors, live feed cameras, multi-channel sound design and an onstage music ensemble. Their “movies” evoke the visual poetry of silent classics with the sophistication of Hitchcock and the contemporary gothic of Tim Burton. |
