Description |
Eurotrash was an examination of narrative dance, contemporary ballet, dance theatre, some other regressive tendencies and assorted original appropriations. The performances also featured a variety of guest artists including Ms Dempster in Lolita Ya Ya and an excerpt from Dancing for Daddy.
Reviewer's opinion: "What is involved in making dance in Australia in 1992?...Eurotrash is a critique of dance practice in this country and an important component is a number of parodies ranging from classical ballet to the Sydney Dance Company." |
