Description In this distilled, dynamic and physically stylised version, the multiple galleries, stairwells and landings of the Adam Art Gallery, and the artworks therein, provide an exciting range of environments through which the audience follows and finds the play. The gathering place, alongside Colin McCahon's iconoclastic Gate III with its smaller writ messages vying for position in a timeless landscape dominated by the monumental and irrefutable I AM, orientates us perfectly to the central themes. Stairs, landings and gratings use vertical space while the more horizontal galleries add texture with still life works in an exhibition entitled Alive!.
