Description An adaptation of Uncle Vanya, set within a radio broadcast performed in Auckland in 1947. This reveals new layers in the text, and adds new ones to the original, at the same time as drawing on the history of the building at 74 Shortland St, the original seat of radio and television in New Zealand. Most of the actors play two roles - one from 1947, and one within the cast of Uncle Vanya.
