A local paper reads: 'We recommend Little Lord Fauntleroy as a class of comedy as beautiful as it is rare - a play that depends upon no sensation or farcical 'business' for its success, but solely on the deliniation of that which is good in men, women and children; a play, moreover, staged and acted in a style it is almost impossible to praise too highly.' Incidentally, two clever children played the title role on alternate nights. |
