| Description |
An array of much-loved children's characters alongside some truly impressive dancing … The fanciful sets and costumes, designed by Gianluca Falaschi, were simply stunning and visual elements of the story, such as the giant teacup lifted by balloons, had audience members murmuring in appreciation. [ODT article]: Choreography included classical and contemporary ballet, with Dorothy going form bare feet to pointy shoes, heels and even tap shoes. [Ventriglia]: 'Every character speaks a variety of vocabulary. For the dancers, this was a big challenge'. |
