Description The Dallas Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1900 as a 40-member ensemble known as the Dallas Symphony Club. Dallas Symphony has been praised for its vigour, panache, rounded unanimity and cultivated magnificence. Under Maestro Mata's tenure the orchestra has made 23 recordings with two of the albums nominated for Grammys.
