| Description | “Sometimes we are taught to think in whispers….” A solo performance presented by Mya Cole, inspired by a lifetime of living quietly WHISPERS is a response to growing up in a culture taught to reject itself. She will construct a narrative in which she will remove any trace of cultural dissonance and come to reclaim herself as more than a single being.
An amalgamation of poetry, dance and sound Whispers aims to give its viewers a visceral experience in the body of something which does not belong. |
