Description An exploration using text, film, puppetry, movement and music to explore public obsession with 'the celebrity'. Inspired by the aftermath of Princess Diana's death, the two woman show is comprised of TV baby vignettes linked by the news of a pop icon's death.
The Performance Space supported these two emerging performers throughout 1999 with workshop space and regular showings. Glitz Dies was first seen at The Performance Space as part of Open 1998, and again at the Newtown Festival before this season.
