Description | Black Queen, Black King will explore the lives and experience of three gay Indigenous men living in Brisbane. Through the journeys of each character the performance aims to promote increased understanding of Indigenous men who are gay living in today's society, while exploring issues of race, gender, cultural bigotry and our own community's self esteem. Through comedy, music, song and storytelling the complex life experiences of three very different individuals will culiminate in a celebration of strength, pride, sexual and cultural identity. | |||||||
