Description Rehearsed reading of this new play. The Mark of Cain is a combination of two of Swinbourne's prevoius plays :Seed of the Revolution, set in Poland in 1939 , and Family Business, set in contemporary Sydney . The play tells the story of the court martial of a Russian Officer in 1939 determines the outcome of a mayoral election in modern day Sydney.Purcell's No Chaperone, is a light hearted physical performance piece that explores the complexities of relationships and the struggle of the independent woman to find her identity in the modern world.
