Description | This is the story of Thomas Cauker who, threatened by rebel forces, fled his home in Bonthe on Sherbo Island, Sierra Leone and spent 3 years in a refugee camp before arriving in Tasmania. The show combines video and visual theatre, physical performance, percussion, poetry and storytelling. Set in a shipping container, audiences encounter an intimate and intense atmosphere in this tribute to the power of family, culture and humour in the face of despair. | |||||||||||||||||||
