Description | Double bill of experimental music by Richard Lerman - an artist who works in sound art, installation, performance, video and film.
"Music for Plinkys and Straws" uses small amplified instruments as sound sources. Here, the straws are cut with scissors creating a sound like an organ pipe and a plucked string. "Changing States" uses self-built transducers made of different metal materials. As these are heated with a small blowtorch, expansion and contraction, the metals changing states are heard. |
