Description |
"'Pacific 3.2.1. Zero, Parts 1 and 2' was composed around instruments and manipulated objects created by the group and played rhythmically and percussively....The Pacific work is a protest against nuclear testing and waste dumping in Oceania... based on an image of isolated islands of activity connected by common waters, waters whose currents now innocently carry nuclear contamination. Best known instruments feature rows of tuned PVC pipes, tuned-tongued bamboos. A big brass section was added to this composition.." |
