Description |
" 'Coppelia' is a ballet in two acts based on the themem of a doll coming to life. The original synopsis was adapted from Hoffman's fairytale, 'Der Sandmann'."
'Death and the Maiden', "written by Andree Howard upon his recovery from a serious illness, depicts with startling clarity, a maiden's struggle against, and final acceptance of Death."
" 'Facade' is a parody on dancing in terms of dancing. It pokes gentle fun at the Music Hall of our grandfathers' day with its 'fancy' dancing, soft shoe shuffles, 'productions' numbers and atmosphere of 'stage door Johnies'. " |
